For my "Democratic Divergence" story, in which I offered advice to the Democratic Party following the midterm elections, I decided to create a corresponding podcast in which I interviewed Paly Government and AP Research teacher Ms. Sano about the results of the midterm elections themselves. Over the course of the podcast we discussed important motivating factors for voters, surprises from the elections, and hope for the future. I was able to record using equipment from Verde above, and used GarageBand and music from Free Music Archive to create the final product. Creating a podcast required creating an engaging script and format, with a set list of topics to cover. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I hope to create more podcasts for stories in the future!
